12 oz. can, sent by Sierra Nevada for review. Currant gives it an interesting, to say the least, pinkish tinge. Under a pinkish-white foamy head. A bit of salt in the nose gives it a little electrolyte water nose. Not much else I can detect. Taste kind of hits with a bit of fruit juice tartness, but it's not what I'd call sour. Because there's a juice and malt sweetness still at work, plus some hops that I couldn't begin to suggest. It's regular strength beer, so I wouldn't see slamming one during a beer mile. But a pretty good refresher. Crafted to remove gluten.

Black currant, salt, light biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Amber with purple tint and moderate light tan head. Lightly sweet black currant, biscuit malt, lightly salty, and mildly bitter dry hay/grass flavor. Okay body. Pleasant.

Can from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours copper tinged gold with a foamy/fizzy/bubbly white head. Not a large head either. Red berry aroma. There's a sugary underpinning. Med body or nearly. Flavor is clearly black currant. It's a little jammy. Sort of dry without being dry. A bitter note. Malt is hard to parse out - but it's there. Interesting how the currants tend to dominate the beer, yet in a subtle way.
