Hazy medium amber colour, small frothy beige head, receding quickly, flimsy lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, berries. Flavour light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, butterscotch, fruity undertones. Rather flat sweetish palate leading to a sweet and light bitter finish with malty notes and a hint of spices. Not that special, just a pleasant and balanced strong ale.

Many thanks to beersiveknown for this bottle! Fresh and smooth beginning. Lots of carbonation. Sweetish-fruity. A bit too sweetish, malty-sweet. Round and smooth but not too deep or intense. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Aroma of bread, fruity esters, a spicy touch. Sweetish flavor, fruity, with a tart touch, a spicy hint, and a light bitterish hint. Medium-bodied.
