Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep golden amber. Light haze and big continental style head which fizzes steadily before reducing to something more proportionate. Nose - esters like banana, pineapple chunks and honey. Light breadiness. Taste - pineapple, banana, sweet spice, icing sugar all up front, but then the cleansing sweet but acidic tang of the Belgian yeast. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle and tangy cleansing finish. Multi dimensional with a long persistent linger. Overall - one of the best Tripels from outside Belgium.

500ml bottle; BBE May 2020. Poured into a 'La Chouffe' stemmed tulip glass (twice) at home in Nov 2019. Really enjoyed this, a bit lively at first, but once it settled down you could appreciate to finer points of it's make up. Misty amber body with some sediment, off-white head, huge initially. Belgian like yeasty aroma with a semi-sweetness from the malts bursting through in the flavour. One of the best non-Belgian Tripel's I have come across so far.

Bottle from the Bodega in Belfast and smuggled home. Huge hiss when opened and a light skunk that dissipated almost instantly. Somewhat hazy dark yellow with a thin tightly bubbled white head. Nose and flavor hot all the right descriptors. honey like maltiness light pear and earthy spicy hops with a light Belgian note to it. Pretty impressive tripel.

Bottle from Garsons farm shop. Sugary sweet fruit aroma - reminds me of Appletize. Copper gold. Creamy white head. Light-medium bitter-sour. Zesty. Vague hints of underlying sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Some residual stickiness. Fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Nice enough. Belgian lite.

Bottle at home picked up from Crumlin Tesco. A clear mid golden coloured pour with a a lasting halo of off white head. Aroma is stewed apple, metallic, musty grains, sweaty. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, apple, spicy yeast, sweaty grains. Hot alcohol. Big signs of a stressed ferment. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation light tangy.. Pretty bad.

Bottle from Tesco, Enniskillen [160516]
Orange amber, hazy, thin white head
Aroma of tangy fruits, odd ashtray note
Taste of very tangy fruits, sweet, soft yeast, sugars, tangy orange and apricot, yeast esters
Palate - Soft carb, medium to full body, very tangy palate, claggy, very sweet. Finish is very sweet, tangy fruits
Overall - Too sweet and tangy, odd nose, not for me. Couldn’t drink much of this stuff.

500ml bottle from BeerMerchants. Hazy orange colour with a thin rapidly disappearing head. Aroma: fruity and spicy, malts, yeast, bit different from most in this style. Taste: same as the aroma, malts, some different spices, sweet fruitiness, yeast, not much bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bit strange.
