12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/30/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, mint, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Slight slickness. Mild increasing warmth of 9.5% after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; dangerously smooth and fairly crisp to drink for the big ABV, with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Fantastic Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe profile. Extremely vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hops; with a nice sized dark/bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on West Coast style example as expected. Liked it a bit more than the regular. Not as sweet/heavy and more dank/resinous.

On tap at Rappourt. Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank pine with a bit of citrus rind and a touch of earthy sweet grain. Flavor has dank citrus and pine throughout with a touch of grain backing.
