Very hazy, super opaque straw yellow coloured body with a nice one to two centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely above the 90 per cent opaque yellow glow. Aroma of oranges, light grass and hay, a dash of wheat malts and somehow - a ton of actual cotton candy! This is the first time i've smelt this in a beer and it's impressive as that's what they were going for! Medium-bodied; Pretty noticeable dry and wheatie malts at first with a big hit of the actual cotton candy and especially bubble gummy flavours that come out very strongly, especially towards the end, with a dash of grass and hay at the end, with a tiny bit of sweetness, but barely worth mentioning. Aftertaste is dry, pretty wheatie and balanced on the malt side with a bit of pepper here, but the fresh hop flavours that are somehow derived from the Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum notes of whatever hop varietal are in here (not specified on can) are very nice! Overall, a very enjoyable beer that hits the marks just right for the style and while on the light-side, it's drinkable, still full-of-flavour and robust - great from my home state and worth trying to find, especially if you like actual cotton candy! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Beer Baron in Livonia, Michigan on 23-October-2022 for US$3,99, canned on 24-June-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 06-January-2023.

On draught at HopCat Knapp's Corner. The beer is a hazy dull orange-gold color with a medium frothy white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, cotton candy, fruit and malt aromas. Light to medium body with flavors of resiny hop, cotton candy, citrus and malt. The finish is fruity hops and cotton candy. Decent overall.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/30/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big pink cotton candy, vanilla, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, sugar, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cotton candy, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big pink cotton candy, vanilla, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, sugar, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pink cotton candy, vanilla, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, sugar, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of cotton candy, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an excellent flavored NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cotton candy, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft and not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra/Mosaic showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with balanced cotton candy sugars and pale/wheat malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected. Perfect balance between cotton candy and NEIPA character. Nothing overwhelming or artificial feeling.
