Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-glistening orange tone with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace and barely left any lace.
Aroma: some tropical fruits, peaches, plums and some odd earthy spice (I can't really distinguish what it is and gave up trying to figure it out), light clean malts
Flavor: does a decent job of combining the aromas together in a semi-sweet to spicy way then underscored with a light bitterness; finishes with the unknown odd spice, plums and somewhat tropical fruity
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; fairly smooth along the tongue with that earthy spice trying to be somewhat assertive but seems to back off a little bit too
Overall: what an odd beer and after I consumed this - I was told by one of my buddies the earthy spice was ginger. I said "I know what ginger is but that wasn't ginger." He said according to this brewer it was. Alright, next beer, please, whatever.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, reasonably crispy. Light malts, sweetish. Curious dipa this one. The pineapple and plum are there but are quite ripe. Apricot? Not so much. Ginger? Very mild. Semi ripe citrus and marmalade. Finishes with a little spice. A nice idea but doesn’t quite gel for me.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 7/8/2021. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apricot, peach, plum, pear, pineapple, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, ginger, peppercorn, pine, honey, candi sugar, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, apricot, plum, pineapple, ginger, candi syrup, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big apricot, peach, plum, pear, pineapple, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, ginger, peppercorn, pine, honey, candi sugar, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; ginger spiciness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, peach, plum, pear, pineapple, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, ginger, peppercorn, pine, honey, candi sugar, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, apricot, plum, pineapple, ginger, candi syrup, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy/tangy/acidic mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warmth of 9%, or lingering ginger spice heat. Overall this is an awesome fruit/spiced DIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, apricot, plum, pineapple, ginger, candi syrup, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/tangy/drying finish; awesomely soft feel. Feels like Citra, Centennial, Amarillo. Very juicy hops/fruit, with some dank/earthy notes; and a nice sized sugary/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive experimental style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
