16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 1/1/2021. Pours lightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light chili/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of orange peel, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light chili powder notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light chili/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tang/tartness; light citrus peel bitterness and chili pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light chili/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of orange peel, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light chili powder flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance, and no puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tang/tartness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic, and lightly sticky/saline mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%; with minimal lingering chili pepper heat after the finish. Overall this is an excellent gose. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of orange peel, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light chili powder flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Not overly lactic/salty. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of orange peel, salts, Lacto complexity, and pale/wheat malts against acidity; with mild chili pepper presence. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example as expected.
