12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/20/2019. Disclaimer: This sat in my hot car for a week or two unknowingly. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/green/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Muted aromas, but not too malty/muddy. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel. Awesome Cascade profile. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. The hot car temps killed the aromas, but the taste was awesome.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, hazy orange color, ripe fruits, candy and jam, hint of apricot, hint of sourness but quite sweet. Feels old and not too good or interesting.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks troubles. Hazy yellow. Stale hops, marmalade, sweetish, bitter finish, some alcohol.

On the sweet side for a DIPA, with a corn-niblet back end that doesn’t quite jibe with the citrus-pine Cascade heart. Grapefruit, candied lemon peel, and white bread round out the finish, with an oily bitterness not altogether complementary with the sweetness. A tad boozy as well. Eh.
