A wise man once said that you can't drink all day if you don't start before noon. Tough to argue that logic. Eberhardt is at home on the dock of a cold-water stream when the days are long, the nights are warm and you can listen for the slurps of trout rising to the surface to gorge on mayflies that drift by like tiny paper boats. These are the days and nights that require a crisp, low octane beer with vibrant, fresh aromas of classic American hops. Slow down, breathe it all in, watch the river flow by. Here's to ya.

16 ounce prowler into tulip glass, filled on 7/21/2019. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean lagering, with no yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is an awesome session IPL. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Feels like Centennial, Amarillo, Mosaic. Extremely vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great clean Pale/Munich malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin drying. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.
