This 12 oz can came from a holiday collection of beers bought at the brewery some time ago. No stamp on the bottom of the can so I am unsure of the age of the IPA. Hope it is drinkable. I open the can and pour into an old-school beer mug to see a more-yellow-than-gold liquid with a hefty head of completely white foam. I smell citrus, peaches and a bit of hops. The drink is not bad but there could be some decline. A light hoppiness, oranges, a hint of lemons, a small candy sweetness, straw and cedar. Decently bitter at the end so there is that. I would like to sample again sometime from a fresh batch.

Canned at West Alabama Ice House, Houston. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Citrus, somewhat dank, soapy, bitter finish. Probably no the freshest.

Ember draught, Halloween 22. Clear, bright brass-bronze-honey. Solid, white head. No onion here, with some light pine and lots of orange-lemon. Yeast is clean in the nose. A little worried about the pine on the end, but otherwise this is well done with cracker and bread. Nice, no pine, resin, bubble gum or otherwise irritating stuff going on here. Fluffy, soft texture with biscuit/cracker and great attenuation. A solid new WC IPA with no onion or resin and a great overall balance.

On tap at Heresy On The Green. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has tropical fruits and dank citrus with a bit of flora and a hint of resin backing. Flavor has light fruits and citrus with a bit of dank papaya and a light pine note in the finish.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/14/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is a fantastic IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not aggressive. Amazing Citra/Mosaic profile. Super juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced pale malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin drying. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing West coast style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.
