On tap at Vivant. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Yeasty, herbal, green grape aroma. Flavor is also yeasty with green grape, and cherry that builds over time. Nice.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/18/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; light herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic malt/spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited saison! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/tart/drying finish. Very flavorful for the ABV, with a awesome soft feel for the style. Fantastic balance of juicy MI cherries, and classic saison yeast complexity; with a great balancing pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness, and not overwhelming on cherries or tartness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Their best classic saison yet, amazing summer beer.
