Draught @ Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2017. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of coffee beans,cocoa, roastiness and earthy notes. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some coffee beans and espresso. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some cocoa, coffee and nuts. Ok.

Keg at the brewery. Near black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of sweet roast, coffee, caramel, vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, bits of cherry. Medium bodied, chewy. Very nice.

From tap at Bøker & Børst with BHK 20.11.16. Ebony. Quickly diminishing brown head. No head. Aroma of coffe and liquorice. Taste of roasted malts, coffe, liquorice and herbs. Some bitterness lingering on, as well as liquorice and herbs. Some malt sourness. No carbonation.

Black color with a fine frothy off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Semi dry texture. Coffee, roast and chocolate in the flavor.

Tiny fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted coffee, dark sugar, roasted grain, minerals, caramel, toast, cocoa, minerals, hints of licorice. Taste is slightly dry roasted, weeds, roasted grain, minerals, dark malts, roasted coffee, hay, bark, burnt toast. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
