Raspberries + Pink Peppercorns + Raspberries
A blast of fruitiness, this is a foudre-fermented and -aged, pink peppercorn saison topped up with an acid drop of select barrels before being packed to the brim with the ripest Somerset raspberries.
Starting as a pink peppercorn saison, Fruitbooter really comes into it’s own with the artful use of blending. Selecting a special few from our barrel library to enhance the flavour of the saison and boost it’s tartness to new heights. Then come the raspberries, as fresh and ripe as we could get them, straight from Somerset.
The acidic barrel additions and juicy raspberries make for a tart, jammy, mouthwatering beer.

Draught @ BPBW2018 [ Budapest Beer Week 2018 ], Dürer Kert, Ajtósi Dürer sor 19-21., Budapest, Hungary 1146. [ As Wild Beer Fruitbooter ].Unclear medium red colour with a small to average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt - sweet malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, berries, rapsberry, peppery - pink peppercorn. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, raspberry, tart, berries, peppery - pink peppercorn, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180525] 8-3-8-3-16

Bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear cherry red with a thin white head. Aromas of raspberry, light spice, sour woody notes. Taste is packed with fruit, tart sourness, raspberry. White pepper heat rounds it out nicely.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep cherry red. Thin lacy head. Nose - raspberries and cherries and a high note of the peppercorn. Taste - lovely tart raspberry notes. Not much pepper. Palate - light to medium bodied and very tight. Long lean texture through the middle and finish. Overall - lovely.

At a tasting, small quickly disapearing fizzy head, clear palish red color, aroma of raspberry jam, candy and a hint of rose petals, raspberry, candy flavor with a light peppery kick. Really yummy, fun stuff.

330ml bottle. Ruby red with a frothy pink head dissipating gradually. Aroma of raspberries. Taste of raspberries, sweet, jammy, mild suggestion of peppercorns, mild acidity and sourness, tart dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

On tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Pours slightly hazy fiery red, topped with medium small white head, not so lasting. Nice, gentler raspberry nose. Medium puckery sourness, very fresh. Even more puckery finish and medium aftertaste. Lighter body. Very refreshing and nice.

Draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2018. Pink colour, some pink foam. Sweet nose of raspberries, lots of raspberries. Very sweet, fruity with enough tartness to counter it. Very nice.

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Bright pink. Nose is raspberry pits, lemonade, sour mineral. Taste is big raspberry pits, jam, low odd thin mineral, bit soapy, decent bit more lemonade than sour, fizzy but tasty.
