Raspberries + Pink Peppercorns + Raspberries
A blast of fruitiness, this is a foudre-fermented and -aged, pink peppercorn saison topped up with an acid drop of select barrels before being packed to the brim with the ripest Somerset raspberries.
Starting as a pink peppercorn saison, Fruitbooter really comes into it’s own with the artful use of blending. Selecting a special few from our barrel library to enhance the flavour of the saison and boost it’s tartness to new heights. Then come the raspberries, as fresh and ripe as we could get them, straight from Somerset.
The acidic barrel additions and juicy raspberries make for a tart, jammy, mouthwatering beer.

Rød lett tåkete med lavt hvitt skum som fort blir helt borte. Lukter bringebær og hvete. Sursyrlig smak. Sure bær, epler og noe gjær.

Draft sample @ Tilquin English Beerfest 2018. Pourpre, col fin rosé. Arôme est fruité rouge avec une bonne dominance de framboises donnant de fines effluves terreuses, retrouve aussi le funk habituel de Wild Beer. Je ne note pas spécialement le côté poivré. Palais est fruité rouge, pointe aigrelette et finement acidulée de la framboise avec cet effet terreux. Crisp sur effervescence haute et ici aussi, pas d'impact spécial du poivre rose.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours red with pinkish head. Aroma is sour, berries, raspberries. Flavor is sour with slight bitterness and sweetness, berries, raspberries, some redcurrant, acidity. Overall: okish.

Bright red to pink beer, big light pink head, very stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: super fruity, lots of cherries, some yoghurt and diacetyl, which is normally pretty bad, but in this case it seems to work rather well together with the fruity notes. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: super fruity, cherries, acidic, some vinegar, little bitter, nice one! Aftertaste: fruity, some tannins, cherries, pretty good one!

Sampled @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2018. A almost clear purple reddish beer with a small white head. Aroma of red berries tart berries, cassis. Taste of tart raspberries, cherries, cassis, easy to drink, refreshing.

Bottle. Pours clear red, with a big creamy, pink head settling at finger thickness. Aroma is tart, with raspberries, currants and musty fruits, as well as sour candy. Medium body, with fizzy carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid and tart berry notes with raspberries, musty fruit peel and sour candy.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Rød. Lyserødt skum som daler raskt. Aroma av bringebærdrops. Smaken bringebær. Vel mye kullsyre. Tørr syrlig ettersmak. Litt bunnfall.
