Can from Pub-up-beershop, Wolvega. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee and milky notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Huh, decent Stout but way more elementary than what I'm used to from Evil Twin.

473ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is sweet, with milk chocolate, bubblegum and blackcurrant hop. Taste has roast and milk sugars to start. Blackcurrant hop finish with roast on the aftertaste.

14 March 2020. Pre-Lockdown (in hindsight) Tasting with Anke & Pieter. Pours hazy black with a slowly thinning, foamy, tan head. Aroma of cappuccino, chocolate praliné, dried fig, tobacco, toasty, whisky. Taste has sweet chocolate, mocha & cream, bitter coffee roast with a (sourish) undertone of dried fruits, clear black olive umami note as well. Dry, toasty, herbal hoppy finish, notes of tobacco, mocha & warming whisky alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good Stout for sure, but lacks a strong 'milk' aspect and really full body too.

[ As Evil Twin 90 Days Dry Aged Stout ].
ABV: 9.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, sweet chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, roasted, milk chocolate, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200506]
