From tap at Põrgu, Tallinn. Ancient farmhouse vibes. Sourish with kveik-ish yeast, grain, some citrus, lemon. Slight spicy/herbal touch. Bit milky? Medium body. Very interesting.

1l growler. Sweetish and yeasty with some banana notes, fruits and sharp carbonation, some stuffy earthiness.

Growler 1l at home, Espoo. Thanks Arde! Color is very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Banana, wheat, some sweetness, some yeast... little bit of different kind of sahti.

Poured from the tap (thanks Marduk for letting me know so I can get this style tick finally). Hazy gold with small white head. Gentle estery wheat and clove, very feint hint of juniper in there. Reminds me of a well made weissbier with feint floral notes. Enjoyable.

Growler@Koht, Tallinn (thanks Marduk!). Orange colour, no head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, spices, floral and some zesty notes. Flavour is floral, fruity and some spices, yeast and mild wheat to it. Quite thin palate.

On tap at Õllesummer, Tallinn. Muddy orange with a white head. Fruity and slighly spicy, bana and cloves as expected. Mild flavours with pleasant acidity. Well integrated alcohol and certainly refreshing.

BIG THANKS to Marduk. Koduõlu was one of my biggest beer wants. PET bottle, filled at brewery shared at Koht – Tallinn. Hazy orange with no head. Nose is sweet candy, sugar, wheat, banana, flat Hefeweizen with low funk of sorts. Taste is like thick unfermented banana Hefeweizen with pencil shavings, glue, chalk, orange peel, sweet candy,…. Thick unfermented malt syrup & glue. Others talked about it being too thin but I struggled a bit with this one but then I tried the regular stronger version oh boy. Bit too challenging for me, heavy. Very happy to have tried this one.

1L bottle, courtesy of FatPhil (thanks!), pours a cloudy filthy orange with a tiny head. Aroma brings out old tart lemon, with some earthiness. Flavour is all esters, with sweet banana. Flat and cloyingly sweet. Horrendous - perhaps this was better at some point, but this is terrible now.

Handbottled (thanks Marduk!)
Hazy orange colour, not much head. Nose has strong juniper. Light to medium-bodied. Some banana, alcohol and juniper. Quite thin for koduõlu. Drinkable.
