12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Slight lingering resins/rinds after the finish. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, not aggressive. Feels like Citra, Simcoe, Centennial. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on Midwest tasting style example.

On tap at Quaker Steak and Lube Sandusky Fairly clear deep golden color with a decent bubbly white head. Bready maltiness beneath a solid shot of citrus pine and faint tropical fruitiness. Pretty tasty IPA from a new to me brewery.

AOK form a can this stuff is big nasty on style terrible nasty nellie go freak yerself mah fah IPA. What else can be said except that with its high alky content, which makes it better than those stupid session IPAs, it makes it somewhat acceptable because of the buzz. One may even think this is in the double ipa territory, heheh.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. This beer pours a clear dark orange color with a medium thin bone white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, biscuit malt and citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
