Funny looking can, hard to tell which version this is. Just put all these stupid IPA into one category; you mean every time you rename a hop it s new beer? Bullshit. Anyway, it s slight haze on pale wit a medium craggy head. Typical contemporary IPA nose, you know, a little off fruity perfume olfactory. Taste is big IPA, yet to feel any of that common veggie thang so prevalent in session IPA, you know, like chewing on skunk cabbage. Does have a big IPA impact and I'd even say its closer to 6% in the ally department. Although its a session, and I don't like IPA, this stuff is a decent IPA but carries with it a little bit of astringent low alky feel. In the end, its even mouth coating like a stupid ass IPA. Not enjoyable for a lager lover; will simply ruin his taste buds for a while.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a cloudy yellow-tan color with a large fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was pink grapefruit, tangerine and yeast. The flavor was tart and bitter with pink grapefruit, tangerine and a bit of yeast. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light coconut/peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit malty/muddy, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, tangerine zest, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light coconut/peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/rind, coconut, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, tangerine zest, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a very nice session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, tangerine zest, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink; with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Cashmere showcase; with added Galena, El Dorado, and Centennial. Great juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop/zest complexity; with a great bready pale/Munich malt backbone for the low ABV. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made session style example as expected.
