Sample at the GR location. Clear orange-gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of mango, wheat and malt. Light body with flavors of mango, herbal wheat and bready malt. The finish is mildly tart with a mango aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sampled from the tap at the Saugatuck location. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet and tart mango with some light sweet grains backing. Flavor starts with sweet mango but has a growing tart bite and a bit of sweet grain.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas big juicy/lightly tart/tangy mangoes, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, mangoes, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy mangoes, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness and fruit/wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy mangoes, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, mangoes, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness and tangy fruit. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a delicious fruited Berliner weisse! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, mangoes, and pale/wheat malt flavors; insanely smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. A bit sweeter than expected, but not overdone. Awesome balance of juicy mangoes, Lacto, and pale/wheat malts. Not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Amazing summer brew.
