2$ can from bargain shelf. Nose is slightly sweet with a mild tart olfactory. Deeper orange pale, near clear. Thin vanilla yellah head. First taste I get a little tartness in there, and I like that! Booz is well hidden for a nine percenter but there is a slight warming sensation happening here. Surprisingly smooth and easy, this may be one of the more civilized tripels I've had in a while. Yes, it lacks all the rude ass bad attributes that poorly made domestics commonly possess. Man, I should have got a six pack of these babies. The tartness along with the good level of carbonation almost makes this refreshing! How can that be? A refreshing 9+ percent ABV! Wow! A very interesting and intriguing brew fer sher. Finish is so good for a beer of this nature, I'd swear this was made in Belgium! This is really good stuff there sibby! Now that I looked at my previous ratings, this is the best tripel I've tasted: Even better than Kapittel Tripel Abt 10°, Troegs Naked Elf, Church Brew Millennium Trippel, Chimay Triple / Blanche (White) / Cinq Cents and Witkap-Pater Tripel! Yea you go SR! Totally blew me away!

Snells of spicy Belgian yeast and malt. The flavor is kind of sweet with a dryish finish. Medium body. It’s a decent tripel.

Hazy vibrant gold with a large fluffy orange-white head that lingered. Tangy, yeasty, musty and somewhat sweet with a medicinal note followed by golden fruit and alcohol. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Pour is a cloudy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is cloves and yeast esters. Flavor is candi sugar, wheat malt and some yeast ester and a big white grape. A little alcohol is felt in the swallow. They were going in the right direction of a Belgian tripel but a lot of the sugar did not ferment making this a way too sweet. Decent attempt.

12 ounce can into chalice, canned on 4/19/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big peach, pear, apricot, lemon, orange, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pear, apricot, lemon, orange, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of peach, pear, apricot, lemon, orange, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and yeast spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with very smooth, bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Mildly increasing warmth of 9.2% after the finish. Overall this is a delicious tripel. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very well rounded Belgian yeast complexity and balanced pale malt/sugars, with solid earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
