Draught @ M&M's Taphouse, Barberton OH (Oct 2025). Faintly cloudy golden yellow with an off-white frothy head, very faint citrusy aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter-sweet orangey taste, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Nice brew.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Estate, 9/28/22. Hazy orange, fine particles. Thin off-white head, average retention. Aroma of blood orange, vanilla. Taste is tangerine, vanilla, pale malt, bit of pine. Moderate bitterness. Nice. 20.2k!

I was hoping this bottle was not IPA, but I guess it is. When popped, it smells like blood orange, you know, a combo between orange and sweet grapefruit. The color is a little orangy and hazy, but mostly pale. Very bitter up front so I guess I know its IPA, fer sher. THere is some orange in the taste but its so far in the background that unless you smelled it, you';d never know about the orange BS. Too bad its built on an IPA otherwise it may be a decent brew.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/24/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on that glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big blood orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn/pine, toasted bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blood oranges, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big blood orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, toasted bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of blood orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blood oranges, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop/fruit astringency after the finish. Light-modferate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. No warming alcohol for 5.7%. Overall this is an excellent fruited IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blood oranges, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Likely Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe. Extremely juicy and fairly dank hops with balanced oranges; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering.

Sample at the brewery tap room. The beer pours a cloudy reddish-range color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of grapefruit, orange, hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
