12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 1/26/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a small foamy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy lemons, lemonade, citrus peel/zest, honey, brown sugar, and herbal tea earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of lemons, tea, and sugar notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy lemons, lemonade, citrus peel/zest, honey, brown sugar, and herbal tea earthiness. Light herbal/citrus peel bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemons, lemonade, citrus peel/zest, honey, brown sugar, and herbal tea earthiness for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of lemons, tea, and sugar flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately sugary/sticky/tangy/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an excellent gluten free fruit beer. All around great robustness and balance of lemons, tea, and sugar flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. This works really well for a gluten free beer, though I am not sure what the sugar source is from. Liked this one the most so far. Less sweetness and syrupy body. Great summer shandy-type thing going on. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
