Pours a reddish purple color with minimal head. The aroma is full of blueberries. The flavor is sweet with lots of blueberries and tea. It’s alright. My wife loved it.

Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/12/2018. Hazy reddish-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lace. Floral and fruity aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of blueberry, lavender and honey. The finish is fruity with a blueberry aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 8/18/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep ruby red, light orange/purple color with a small fairly dense light pink head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon, orange, pear, melon, lavender, mint, honey, brown sugar, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of blueberries, lavender, and sugar notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon, orange, pear, melon, lavender, mint, honey, brown sugar, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, fruit skin, lemon, orange, pear, melon, lavender, mint, honey, brown sugar, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberries, lavender, and sugar flavors; with a nice malt/tart/bitterness balance; and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and fairly sticky/tangy/tannic/sugary mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious gluten free fruit beer. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberries, lavender, and sugar flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/bitter finish. This works really well for a gluten free beer, though I am not sure what the sugar source is from. Balanced blueberries, lavender spice, and sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
