Bottle. This one was surprisingly good. Load with great fruit flavor. A nice summer time beer.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a large foamy white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with artificial strawberry and lemonade. The flavor was tangy with lemonade and artificial strawberry. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of sour fruit. Tastes as though a lemonade was mixed with a witbier. Palate is weak, some sour notes. Weak.

On tap at Dexter’s Pub. Pours a near clear pale yellow white a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light tart strawberry and lemon with a bit of sweet wheat underlying. Flavor has sweet strawberry and wheat with a hint of lemon backing.

This tart strawberry part is pretty good but the body is a touch thin and the malt somehow makes the flavors not enhance one another. I don't pick up any sign of lemon.

On tap. Pours a hazy pale straw colour with a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Mild aroma of bready malt and lemon. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon and just a hint of strawberry in a dry, slightly sour finish. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing, not much strawberry and not all that tart.

Bottle and I was hoping for a refreshing beer at 90F in the burgh. And it somewhat is, was thinking it would be overly strawberry and artificial sweet but its not. Yes, it looks like a hefe and it smells rather neutral. Taste is less sour and less sweet wanting to be a little more tart. Its just barely tart but at least the taste is laid back barely detectable real strawberry thank you. Not bad overall, a fairly easy civilized if not too bland drink. EAsy going, manners, friendly, refreshing are all good attributes of this mild low alky brew. Just wish it was a tad more tart, you know, like in the name? one of the better brews I've had lately.

Bottle from Harris Teeter at Hollymead. Pours murky pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is dish soap, light berry, wet dog. Flavor is dishwater, lemon, cracker, cereal, light berry (not really strawberry), dough. Very bland, not at all enjoyable, but drinkable.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Tart lemon nose. The flavor is not as tart as the nose. Tastes like a wheat ale with a mix of lemon and strawberry fruit juice. The strawberry helps take the edge off the lemon tartness.
