This beer is a hazy ruby-purple color with a medium pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of berry, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of blueberry, malt and a bit of vanilla. The finish is creamy with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can. Pour is a beauty, foaming purplish colored hazy murky brew leaves a craggy head. First taste, well, it is slightly tart and a little fruity but there is quite a bit of that processed ill ale attribute in there. Comes across more like one of those AB wild blue or wild black malt beverages. Smell is a little sweet and fruity, but its not much like the taste. Not as good as I was expecting.

Can. Pours a cloudy earthy, reddish purple with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart blueberry and blackberry with the lactose giving a strong yogurt note. Flavor has a combination of tart blueberry and blackberry with a yogurt backbone.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/5/2018. Pours moderate hazy dark ruby red/purple color with a 2 finger dense and rocky pink head with insane retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Amazing appearance. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart/tangy blackberries, blueberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, red grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy blackberries, blueberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, red grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Mild fruity/lactic tartness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy blackberries, blueberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, red grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; and zero cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness/tangy fruit. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited milkshake sour! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink; with the mildly acidic/tangy finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Super jammy fruit, balanced milkshake-like sweetness; and solid Brett/lacto complexity. A really enjoyable offering.
