12 ounce can from Woodman's Kenosha, 6/21/19. Hazy amber, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of floral, leafy, melon hops, caramel malt. Taste is melon, earth, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong bitterness. Nice.

Can/Fest. A- Citrus, cat pee. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, grassy, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Pretty normal and nothing special.

12 ounce can. Medium gold color. small bubbly white head. Fragrant citrus nose. Brisk grainy malt flavor upfront. Light citrus hops in middle. Smooth, dry malty finish. Pleasant and refreshing.

Can. Pale gold pour. Thin head. Aromas of yuck. Seriously, it smells a bit like lemon covering up something less nice... like something that has just started to rot so isn’t that bad yet but holy shit wait for tomorrow. It seems to lose some of this edge as it airs and warms. Flavor is citrus over weak malt. Meh. As a Pale it is ok. I guess.

Can pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is pale yellow with greenish tinge, mild sparkle, thin white head, with poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is moderate citrus with a bit of yeast, lime and vaguely metallic. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light bodied, with thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, missing the huge hop (especially fruity) contributions. Some interesting features here but they don't completely work.

12oz can. Faint haze. Looks filtered. Yellow tan body. The aroma and flavor have gotten a little oniony, diesel...2 month old can I suppose. A nice Pale Ale...somewhere between moder and classic.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/19/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest/peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest/peel, light pepper, pine, wheat, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest/peel, pepper, pine, wheat, bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a delicious American pale ale! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Great balance of juicy and dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
