This west coast style IPA uses 100% Citra hops. Extremely drinkable with great aroma and grapefruit notes.

Tight white head on a slowly carbonating unclear pale amber coloured body. Bitter citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft & foamy with a cloying back. Nectarine, mango, resinous & citrus tastes with a long bitterly hopped finish. Corker.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear gold with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Caramel, citrus aromas on the nose. More of the same on the palate. A bit heavy, but a good midwest Citra-hopped IPA.

Mostly clear copper colored pour. It smells of resinous hops and a little citrus. The flavor is of piney hops, citrus, and malt. It’s medium bodied and a fairly good IPA though nothing special.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 7.3%. Overall this is an outstanding IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. This drinks exactly like an NEIPA, did not expect that. Extremely juicy classic Citra hop complexity with a nice bready malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy. A highly enjoyable offering.

Can. Pours a coppery orange with a finger of fizzy beige head and aromas of yummy toffee and papaya. Flavor is a bit unrefined... almost the slightest hint of sourness covering a grain dust and toffee malt presence and a tingly pine hops finish. It’s not awful, but it could be a little cleaner.
