Can. Pour is pale yellah with a slight haze. Smell is fairly crisp. Taste is mildly bitter hay. Just a little difficult at first then it starts to grow on me. Reminds me of a straub with balls. Yes, remains a little uncivilized clear to the end but never unexciting.I just don't want to come across as a creep in front of rubezahl.

12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a very nice Kolsch style. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Clean malts, balancing noble hops, and restrained fruity yeast flavors. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
