Can. Cloudy medium dirty orange body with fine sediment; medium pillowy off-white head. Aroma of citrus peel, citrus, and floral hops, light and tangy, also some spiciness. Tangy body, sharply carbonated. Bread dough, pineapple, and lemon, floral and spicy too, finishing with a lingering herbal bitterness (a lot more than expected based on my understanding of this "style") and alcohol warmth. A very tasty IPA.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours moderately hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit, guava, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit, guava, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. lingering notes of tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. A little more bitter than I expected, but not an issue at all. Never aggressive or overly drying on hop oils. Perfectly balanced dank, juicy, and vibrant hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and nice style example.

Draught at Kroger because that’s what you do in the ‘burbs, I guess. Bright citrus with sharp bitterness. Lightly tropical and lemon. Mild sweetness from some neutral malts. Good.
