12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy medium golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing cling on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon juice, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lemon juice, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon juice, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon juice, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lemon juice, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lemon juice, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Wonderful vibrant, juicy, and lightly dank hop profile that works perfectly with the lemon juice; balanced bready malt/lactose backing, with no residual sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering.

Solid DIPA, citric and semisweet with a nice piney back end and the slightest hint of lemon meringue behind the hops. Notes of caramel, meringue, lemon, grapefruit, and biscuit (or pie crust), with a sufficiently dry back end that leans resinous and clingy. Pours an absolutely gorgeous yellow-gold with a healthy white head and infinite lacing. Nose is mostly grainy malts with a hint of pine. Pitch-perfect texture, smooth and oily and lacking any warmth. Surprisingly good pint.
