Bottle many thanks to Drake! Hazy orange, frothy off-white head. Orange and grapefruit peel, yeast nose. Belgian yeast, grapefruit peel, pine. Bitter, a little boozy, interesting.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden amber, pretty hazy, with an off-white head. Yeasty pear aroma, pine, tropical hops. Flavor has yeasty pear meeting citrus, tropical hops, forming a nice combination. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, apple, lemon/orange zest, peppercorn, clove, pine, light banana, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, apple, lemon/orange zest, peppercorn, clove, pine, light banana, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness and pine/citrus peel/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, pear, apple, lemon/orange peel, peppercorn, clove, pine, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent hop/yeast flavors after the finish. Quickly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a Very nice Belgian IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink; despite the increasingly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Fairly foamy/prickly on carbonation, but doesn’t inhibit drinkability at all. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and Belgian yeast with light grains and a hint of citrus backing. Flavor has earthy citrus and Belgian yeast with grass and grains supporting.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy amber, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of yeast, citrus, pine, resin. Taste is mint, resin, citrus. Kinda medicinal. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
