A crushable ale to celebrate the end of winter and rejoice the coming of warm weather! This Hoppy Wheat Ale is brewed with Apollo and Amarillo hops, with a dry-hop blend of Crystal, Amarillo, and Mosaic, resulting in a mellow bitterness and pronounced flowery and citrus aromas.
Flaked Oats with a malt blend of 2-row, Red Wheat, and Carapils, create a light golden color and a smooth silky mouthfeel in this brew.

Mango, tangerine, lime, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet mango, lime, tangerine, wheat malt, and mildly bitter orange peel and hay flavor. Good body. Nice, fruity.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 11/26/19. I've probably seen this two dozen times in just the last year in BYO sections and just assumed I'd already rated it... doh! Clear gold, large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of wheat, floral and oniony hops, some nondescript fruitiness. Taste is citrus, pine, onion, dank, pale malt. Thin, juicy. The wheat could be more pronounced. Solid.

Draft at Revolution’s #SoxSocial cave at White Sox park! Again, great to have a bar with a great view of the ballpark in what used to be the Miller Light Extra Bases Deck. Can’t help the p[lastic cups, of course, but this is a pretty intense beer, so we’re good. Hoppy and spicy smell up front, and an orange-ish beer with a puffy head. The taste keeps up the dry-hopping schedule, with just enough bitterness to match the malt, then the usual fruity impression of American Northwest hops. The overal beer has some malt heartiness that wasn’t present in the next beer I had. Don’t like to compare differently made beers normally, but I do appreciate the contrast.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has grass and light citrus with some hay underlying. Flavor has sweet wheat with a bit of grass and light fruits coming through.

From a can this is a big giant bitter wheat ale. The nose is volatile sweet cirrus hop perfume. Wheat ale is bad enough, now what, hoppy wheat ale. Yes., how about a big sharp astringent hops bitter slightly hazy brew? Head goes rocky, taste begins to get quite difficult. Ruder, rudder randall. Big biting bullzhit. To call this a wheat ale is wrong, way too much alky feel than 5% here. Put it into the middle of the IPA style my ratebeerian friend. Whew, revvy baby.

Draft. Hazy golden body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, lemon, orange, grapefruit, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/slick texture, lively carbonation. Taste of orange, citrus, mango, pine. Light floral notes. Lightly sour. Lingering bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Revolution Chicago. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some cereal but mostly a lemon hoppy beer. These beers are spot on. Good on the style with depth and flavour. Good hop finish. Very drinkable
