Clear yellow pour, with a small white head. Aroma is quite sweet, lots of candied citrus peel, and sticky tropical fruit. Mouth feel is full, carb is flat. Finish is medium bitter, very sweet, yeasty, tropical nectar, but sweet, musty cereals also. I think this is quite old.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, some mild spiciness with some fruits and mild alcohol. Flavour is fruity, some spices, mild herbal and some slight alcohol tones. Not overly sweet.

Fruchtige Nase, dazu Honig. Im Glas sattes Gold, hektische Perlen, toller Cremeschaum. Im Trunk ebenso cremig, Aprikosen, Honig, Getreide, dezent Alkohol, sehr lecker.

Can from Systembolaget. Golden with a medium white head. Sweet with pear, yeast, apricot, some banana and honey. Warming finish.

Bortimot klar med hvitt skum. Lukter gjær, krydder og tørka aprikos. Fruktsødme med litt karamell I bakkant.

35cl Blik van Beer Republic. Troebele, diep goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Typische Belgische Tripel-geur, zoet, moutig, oude koekjes, appelmoes, smaak volgt, licht boozy, goed bitter, licht kruidig. Volle body. Goede Tripel.
