Can 12oz into mini Chimay taster glass. Canned 7/18. Dim gold color. Head isn't big or long lasting. Simply put a well made American triple that isn't overly sweet it estry. Still sweet and estry but well within norm for style. Rather easy drinking and didn't guess it was 10% but strong. Low bitterness and an easy finish that is felt but not heavy.

Very nice orange beer pour, almost matches the can. Smell is surprisingly not volatile, comes across rather fresh on the nose. First taste is recognizably alky sweetness. Yes, sweetness of candy sugar, almost cloying after it sets in. What else can be said? Big difficult rude mah fah blast in the pie hole? Well rounded? Not sure. Maybe this stuff needs to be aged. Do you think it can mature in a can? hehehah. Warming sensations in the finish. Fortunately, a little carbonation helps it to go down in the end.

12 ounce can into chalice, canned on 9/19/2016. Pours lightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a small foamy white head with poor retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap. Minimal lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, apricot, banana, apple, pepper, clove, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar/bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, pear, apricot, banana, apple, pepper, clove, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apricot, banana, apple, pepper, clove, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is fairly well hidden, a small warmth lingers after the finish. Overall this is a nice tripel. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, candi sugar/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to sip on for the ABV. A little too malty and heavier on body for the style; but still well balanced with nice yeast complexity. A nicely enjoyable offering.

3 oz pour on draft at the Hilton’s Buena Vista Palace lobby bar. Clear golden with off-white head. Aromas of herb, spice, coriander, banana. Tastes of herb, spice, light banana, light booze. Light body with a dry finish.
