This tripel is brewed with blond malts and a touch of candy sugar. It’s fermented with Belgian Abby yeast strain that imparts fruity and spicy yet soft, well rounded esters. This low hopped brew is easy on the palate, but deceptively strong.

A boozy thick dark blonde beer. Just doesn’t seem belgian, a lot of american influence. Clean, but seems like a strong cheap beer a bit. But it’s still pretty good. Sk adventkal

355ml can. Pours a clear orange-gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Sweet aroma of Belgian yeast, candi sugar, banana, clove and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, candi sugar, Belgian yeast, apricot, honey, clove, white pepper, floral hops and warming booze in a dry finish. Medium to full body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A little on the sweet side, but still pretty decent.

12oz can. $9.49 plus tax for a sixpack. At 10% this is rather massive, but the filtration keeps it quite drinkable. I generally don't comment on labels, but the label has a really cheesy 80's store brand soda look that is quite inappropriate for the style. The beer itself is rather true to style, just a little boosted up in the ABV department. OK.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a bright yellow gold color with a huge foamy yellow white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with mustiness and perfume. The flavor was sweet, musty and funky with perfume, golden fruit, sugar and white pepper. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Taster at the Craft Bar in Destin. Clear, golden color, with no head. Toffee, caramel, spruce, and corn syrup. Sweet and syrupy, with a little, bitter bite. Thin and uninspired.

Florals and some coriander. Lots of booze. About average or just below for style. I like them so I give it a pass like quarterbacks. Light sweet finish. Can.

I've kinda lost my taste for tripels and this one is a good example of why. Really noticeable phenols, plus bananas and somewhat soapy. A tad too sweet, and even a little under-carbonated.
