Taste: moderate sweet with low bitterness,semi dry, yeasty esters dominate, also notes of candy sugar, brioche bun, light spicy, booze. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Not bad at all

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma is malty and has some elements of banana bread. Flavour is similar. The banana sweetness grows and grows. Afterwards the boozy warmth kicks in. It's a fairly clean Tripel which is not always a bad thing. I'm relieved this is not over the top with sweet spices as is often the case when American breweries attempt Belgian styles.

#4 Beer Republic advent calendar. Slightly unclear golden, big fluffy head. Rather yeasty and estery with some clove and banana, candy sugar, brioche bun, raisin, booze. Yeasty fruity boozy sweetness, slightly dry. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry sweet boozy finish. Alright!
