12 ounce bottle, 9/23/16. Murky orange, thin foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of orange and grapefruit juice. The taste is bitter grapefruit, pale malt. Thin-medium bodied.

What has dah world come to? #cheapIPA? Looks like grapefruit juice. Tastes like somebody poured a bomber of IPA into a glass of grapefruit juice. IPA this, now IPA that. Go IPA BS figger. If you like grapefruit backbone IPA, try this, that’s what it is.In the end it does seems to have more alky than 5%. You know, perhaps I detect a hair of citrus tartness in the finish.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/2016. Pours very hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big grapefruit juice, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit, and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit juice, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness and slight grapefruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit juice, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and a slight lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice; slight grapefruit acidity as well. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a nice IPA/Shandy hybrid style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle. A- Grapefruit, orange juice, sweet. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Bitter grapefruit, oranges, sweet, cleaner. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, artificial taste. O- A lot better than it should have been. More of a shandy than IPA for sure. Lots of grapefruit and orange.
