A milk stout brewed with cacao nibs, vanilla and milk sugar. A satisfying blend of sweet creaminess and dark chocolate create the perfect balance. Roasted bitter flavors are noticeable, but it's a lingering sweetness that ultimately dries the palate.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/30/2015. Pours pitch black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky tan head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, light smoke/char, and roasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of roast/bready malt and vanilla/cocoa/lactose notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, light smoke/char, and roasted earthiness. Light-medium roast/char bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, light smoke/char, and roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt and vanilla/cocoa/lactose flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from roasted bitterness as well. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and slightly chalky mouthfeel that is awesome. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent milk stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt and vanilla/cocoa/lactose flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. This was very rich and robust for the ABV; and had a nice amount of soft serve ice cream feel to the flavors as well. A very enjoyable offering.

Sample at the "Black Friday 01" tasting on 01/22/2016. Pours a flat black color with a medium thick khaki head that dissipates gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, chocolate and vanilla. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, sweet chocolate and vanilla. The finish is sweet and creamy with a chocolate vanilla aftertaste. Above average overall.
