12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of black cherry, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance of black cherry, bready malt, earthy hop, and spicy yeast notes; with decent strength. Taste of light black cherry, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Solid robustness and balance of bready malt; with light cherry, earthy hop, and spicy yeast flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish, Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a decent wheat ale. All around solid robustness and balance of bready malt; with light cherry, earthy hop, and spicy yeast flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. Not much of a fruit beer, very lacking in cherry flavors; but this was still enjoyable enough as an American wheat.
