Draft at the brewpub. Hazy straw body, thin clumping off-white head. Aroma piny/catty, perfumy, musky, and bitter. Creamy body with light fruits and unfortunate diacetyl.

Bottle. Cloudy light golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, toasted grain, grapefruit, corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of pine, citrus, grass, dough. Not really a cream ale considering the big role hops play in this. So, as a hopped-up cream ale, tastes good.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 9/28/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of lemon zest, pineapple, guava, apricot, orange rind, pepper, pine, cracker, corn, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon zest, pineapple, guava, apricot, orange rind, pepper, pine, cracker, corn, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange rind, pineapple, guava, apricot, pepper, pine, cracker, corn, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish with a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and no astringent bitterness after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Cream ale/IPA style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate pale flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and corn with a bit of grass underlying. Flavor has a good amount of grass with a bit of pine in the finish and a creamy sweet grain backbone.
