This West Coast/Rocky Mountain-style India Pale Ale is back-hopped for a more intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma without the balance of caramel malts like our Midwest-style Baldock IPA. It has medium-high alcohol content, high fruity, floral and citrus-like American-varietal hop character, deep golden color and medium maltiness.

Can. (thanks Wolff) Clear dark orange with a firm head. Aroma of hops, grass, grapefruit and some light caramel. Similar taste. Also notes of something that reminded of "brett". The finish was quite bitter.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a off-white head. Aroma is fruit forward with caramel. Med body. Flavor starts with sweet caramel, then fruity hop. It’s pleasant, but it it could be more bitter.

12oz can. Pretty respectable IPA. Filtered looking orange body. Foamy, steady off-white head. Bright, zesty orange, citrus tones. At the end of the say a pretty standard American IPA, updated for 2015. OK.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of citrus with a bit of grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more sweet citrus with a bit of bitterness and a bit of sweet grain.

Purchased from Destihl in growler form, enjoyed in a hotel room in Springfield, IL the day before the \"Fat Ass 5K\". Appearance is a lightly clear golden amber with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of light citrus. Taste also of citrus notes but not much else, slightly syrupy, just meh.

tap at Dash In - This brew has a nice citrus and herbal hop aroma. The flavor features good hops bitterness and some mild citrus. It’s lightly carbonated with a medium body. Good. Not great.

Pour is a bright copper with a small white head. Aroma is a nice floral, grapefruit, citrus hop. Flavor is about the same lots of hop bitterness with a big citrus note. The hops push all the malts to the backround but I think that is what they were going for here. A enjoyable hop bomb.
