Bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond. Pours slightly murky amber with a soft small off-white head. Aroma is old citrus, pine, resin. Not overly enticing. Flavor is bland hops, citrusy and slightly piney, brown leaves, caramel. Just tastes old.

12oz bottle. Filtered but maybe a little bit hazy orange-tan body. Steady off-white head. Pretty nice balance, though sort of ends up drinking more like an APA than an IPA. Clean and drinkable. Maybe even along the lines of session IPA flavors...a little bit light with the hops. OK.

Bottle at BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival. Pours a cloudy gold with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is pine and grapefruit pith. Medium body, dank, grapefruit, resin finish, very good.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy deep gold color. Massive thick rocky beige head resembles fresh whipped cream. Aroma of pine and toasted bread. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has celery seed and green apple notes and a soft mouthfeel, but intense grapefruit peel finish. The piney hop bitterness dominates from start to finish. A must for hop lovers.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/22/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate amount of dryness from bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good balance, complexity, and robustness of citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a 24K gold with a 2 finger head of foam. Lacing is good. This is a gorgeous looking IPA.
I get a lot of hoppiness in the smell. Mostly pine but some grass and floral hops. There’s an odd malty sweetness that brings balance to the nose. Decent overall smell.
The taste is piney, somewhat grassy, and despite the firm malt backbone, I find the hops come across as harsh.
Good enough mouthfeel.
Not a bad effort from the brewer but it does not tickle my fancy.

On draught at Winking Lizard. Pours a clear bronze-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of fruity hops, biscuit malt and a bit of hay. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Liquor Mart in Boulder. Hazy, slightly dark orange appearance with a tan head. Some doughy / cookie malt notes in the aroma along with grapefruit, orange, candy, and a hint of veggie. Goopy mouth feel. Moderate high sweetness. Slight butter. Chewy cookie dough flavor. A bit oxidized. Some citrus. Not great.
