12oz bottle. Mild hazy orange body. Thin white head. Earthy medium body. Vegetal earthy magic hat yeast. Drinkable, but stylistically vague. Not that good.

12 ounce bottle from the bargain bin at Belmont I believe. Pours a clear orange hue with a large white head. A light sweet spicy malt nose. Oranges, some light rye, fresh spicy coriander. Pretty light. Works fine. Just not much, smooth and easy brew.

12 ounce bottle. Bright orange amber color. Small creamy white head. Bready malt nose. Flavor has earthy notes. Some grainy notes. Coriander and orange peel are barely discernible. Some spicy notes in finish. Nothing special.

An unassuming ale, not sure what spices it's brewed. Maybe nonespice. A classic magic hat meh beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, table sugar, citrus and tequila. The flavor was tangy, sweetish, orange peel and tequila. Medium length finish and it turns astringent. Medium body. Meh.

Clean fresh somewhat mild fruit perfume olfactory. From bot. Ale attributes from the start, seems like there’s more alky in here than listed. Malty, somewhat spiced impressions. Not over the top in spice. Decent co2. A little medicinal @ 50F.

12 ounce bottle. Clear amber, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, mild rye, spice and lemon. The taste is toasted malt, lemon, orange, hints of rye. Medium bodied. Decent.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 7/15/2015. Pours crystal clear bright orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, coriander, orange peel, toasted bread, lightly spicy rye, light caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of spices, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, coriander, orange peel, toasted bread, lightly spicy rye, light caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, coriander, orange peel, toasted bread, lightly spicy rye, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance and robustness of spices, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice spiced rye ale style. All around good robustness and balance of spices, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. There was a very mild amount of yeasty earthiness, possibly from an English strain, but was very well restrained overall. A very enjoyable offering.
