I noticed one other reviewer mentioned Brett in his review and since it's not mentioned in the Brewers description on the label and I pick it up in both Aroma and taste I think it's infected. It's not bad bittersweet a little bit of citrus booze is hidden. But with a Brett not supposed to be there it's accidentally good?

500mL bottle, pours a hazy copper orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very wild tasting, with brett funk and light fruitiness. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of tart stone fruits and massive barnyard funk. Not sure how this is an imperial pilsner, but this is great whatever it is.

On tap at Cottonwood. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and honey. Medium mouth, grass, wheat, light bitterness, ok.

Hazy orange - amber beer, tidy white head. Palate si smooth and mildly viscous. Decent fine carbonation. A startling and slight sour orange. Orange peel and a squirt of lemon. Light finish. Doesn’t seeem to have much in common with a pils but it’s fine and it hides the abv quite well.

500 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, lime, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, spicy oak, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright earthy/spicy hops, oak, and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, spicy oak, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Good amount of herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, cracker, bread, light honey, pepper, spicy oak, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice robustness and balance of bright earthy/spicy hops, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly clean on lager flavors with some light yeast ester notes present. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice imperial pilsner style. All around good robustness and balance of bright earthy/spicy hops, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the high ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
