A Belgian White Ale hopped assertively like an American IPA. It's pale yellow color is lightened further by an appropriate haze from the use of malted white wheat. An intense fruit filled nose comprised of notable hop aromas, distinctive yeast esters, and pronounced lemon and orange zest. Flavors of soft grain and earthy hops mingle with an overall fruitiness, amplified by coriander and other lively spice qualities. An agreeable bitterness heightens in the finish before turning unmistakably dry.

12 oz. bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer with a cellar clean out. Hazy gold without much head. Aroma is lots of pepper, light yeast and some floral hops.

The flavor has citrus, pine and again floral for me. Medium body with a spicy pepper note in the finish. The texture is rather dry with a lingering pepper.

Refrigerated 12 oz. refrigerated brown bottle from clownoiseur poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy pale golden with small white heaed. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body medium carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is herbal hops, some orange, and bitter hop finish. More IPA than Belgian White, but definitely both.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/11/2014. Pours hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, tangerine, orange peel, coriander, pear, wheat, bread, clove, pepper, herbal, grass, light pine, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, citrus hops, spice, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, tangerine, orange peel, coriander, pear, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, pine, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness and yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, tangerine, orange peel, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, pine, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, citrus hops, spice, and pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good white IPA. All around good robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, citrus hops, spice, and pale malt notes; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Hazy light dirty orange-brown body, thin to medium clumping off-white head. Aroma of bitter, oily citrus peel, peppery esters, coriander, and tangy malt. Strikingly bitter body, heavy on citrus peel, coriander, and bitter esters; oily and crisp.
