bottle - Pours hazy pink with a small off-white head. It has a light, pleasant raspberry aroma. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a bready taste, maybe some wheat. It’s medium bodied and fairly good.

Bottle at Derek’s. Raspberry aroma. flavor is dry, some more berry and light light malt flavor. Raspberry is decent but not a lot going on here.

Bottle. Pours a clear red with a with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of rich tart raspberries with a light sweetness supporting. Flavor has much more of a dry raspberry note with an earthy grain backbone.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/8/2014. Pours hazy reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of tart raspberry, raspberry skin, toast, biscuit, light caramel, and light floral hops. Very nice aromas with good balance of raspberry and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart raspberry, raspberry skin, toast, biscuit, light caramel, and slight floral hops. Minimal bitterness and light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart raspberry, raspberry skin, toast, biscuit, light caramel, and light floral hops. Very nice robustness and balance of raspberry and bready malt flavors; with a nice tartness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, slightly creamy/syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice fruit beer. Good robustness and balance of tart raspberries and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
