12 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, caramel, toast, biscuit, light toffee, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice aromas with good complexity of citrus/floral hops and balanced sweet malts; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, toast, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, caramel, toast, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and balance of juicy citrus/floral hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and lightly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Good balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth to drink. A bit too malty, but otherwise a nicely enjoyable IPA.

Filtered orange-tan. Foamy off-white head. Brewhouse aroma, mild orange tones. Pretty boring IPA, 1.5 decades of recipe development huh? The malts are run of the mill, and lack a toasty freshness. The hops are tame and on the lighter side for an IPA in 2014. Not a horrible brew, but pretty insipid, should shy away from glorious descriptions.

12 oz can from trade with mdg164. Pours hazy copper color with off white head. Aroma of caramel malts, grapefruit, pine and some earthiness. Similar flavor with the malts coming through stronger than the hops. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Marc.

Can at the pre Bamberg tune up in the Sham, from Wegmans Downington, 23/01/14. Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white head that dissipates to a pond. Nose is bitter orange, straw, toasted malts, lemon rind, grass. Taste comprises orange pith, light hoppage, toasted malt, faint red grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grass laden bitterness in the closure. So so entry level IPA.

Pre Bamberg bash tasting at Colin’s house with Mr Bois and James. Thanks Colin. Light haze on this deep gold beer. Decent pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and minerally crisp. Caramel malt with a slight oxidised flavour. Light piney hops. Little hop spice. Semi.dry finish with a bitter linger.

12 ounce bottle from Guntown. Pours a cloudy orange hue with a medium white head. A decent orange and citrus nose. The flavor is decent; biscuit, lemon, some zest. Lots of crystal. Smooth.
