750 ml bottle corked and caged bottle. Pours a hazy honey gold color topped by a pillowy white head. Faint yeasty malt nose has notes of bread and citrus. Slightly sweet, earthy yeasty malt flavor upfront. Bittersweet lemon peel notes in midtaste. Dry bitter finish. Nicely done.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/2015. Pours slightly hazy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, pear, apple, black pepper, floral, grass, light pine, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, pear, apple, black pepper, floral, grass, pine, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spice/pine hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, pear, apple, black pepper, floral, grass, pine, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hop, and pale malt sweetness; with a very crisp malt/yeast/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy Belgian pale ale. All around nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
