Bottle. Amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, bread, resin, pine. Some citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of caramel, bread malts, light pine. Lots of sweet malts that aren’t all that well balanced with either hop flavors or bitterness.

12 oz bottle, no date. Pours a hazed nice orange copper with a slightly off-white head. Grapefruit and orange zest aroma, pineapple and pine. Flavor still has the citrus, but leans more toward herbal and grassy hops, though the tropical fruit is still in there and increases as I drink more. Pretty nice.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy orange copper color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, floral, grass, pepper, light pine, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and moderate malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, floral, grass, pepper, pine, spicy rye, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, pepper, pine, spicy rye, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice balance and complexity of hop, spice, and moderate malt flavors; with nice crisp hoppiness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice fresh hop IPA. All around nice balance and complexity of hop, spice, and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
