Thanks Frank.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt light copper color with a finger’s worth of off white foamy head
that clung and glistened a little bit before gently dieing off to leave some sly
messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet grains, light floral bits, dried bubblegum, dried herbal qualities and some hay.
The flavor had a dried sweetness about it through the prior mentioned aromas. Subtle dried flroal/herbal/hay aftertaste
and finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine.
ABV felt as projected.
Overall, with so many saisons on the market these days, I don’t see a need to come back to this other than being grateful
to my West coast friend for sending this to me.

Pour to snifter. Light, golden color. Nothing complex--thin on fruit or spiciness. Just OK.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/12/2013. Pours hazy bright golden amber color with a 2-3 finger fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, clove, pepper, grass, banana, bread, wheat, floral, herbal, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of yeast ester notes with light malt balance; and good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, clove, banana, pepper, wheat, bread, pepper, grass, floral, light bubblegum, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, clove, pepper, bread, wheat, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast ester flavors with a light bready malt balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very crisp, prickly, and smooth mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice saison! All around nice balance and complexity of yeast ester flavors; and smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Clear Yellow Color, with Huge Long Lasting Foamy Head that Leaves Lots Of Lacing. Citrus, Wheat sour, yeast, light bitter finish. Light Body. Just OK for me.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a near clear gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a good amount of earthy grain and grass with a bit of resin and earthy fruit. Flavor starts with sweet grain and light fruits with a good amount of grass hops underlying.

Bottle thanks to mora2000. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a retentive white head. Aromas are of peppery phenols, sage, black pepper, and plastic. Light apple esters, low malt. Flavors are dry, black pepper and a touch of vegital flavors. Lively carbonation with a dry finish.

Finally found a bottle of this in the singles cooler at a local store - cloudy golden pour - head is initially fizzy, but it froths up nicely eventually and the retention is impressive - nose of earthy, lightly husky malts, dusty yeast, pepper, floral notes, mild banana esters - light to medium body, with moderate carbonation - lightly tart up front, but dries out quickly - light mineral/limestone - spicy/pepper phenols, especially in the bone dry finish - very mild plastic phenols, but not of the off-putting sort - mild banana esters late (I don’t taste them nearly as much as others) - this is quite nice - I really dig how crisp and dry it is - the nose has a couple off notes, but otherwise this is a solid attempt - I must track down a full six pack.

Bottle: Pours a flat golden color with two fingers of fluffy white head. Light farmhouse style aroma; dry and dusty, yeast, light florals, and citrus. Flavor is maltier than expected and it compliments a grainy presence. Sweet, but not cloying. The yeast and florals remain too. The last lingering flavor is of bananas… not a bad way to finish. Sessionable.
